Structural Energetic Therapy (SET)
An integration of deep tissue therapy, Myofascial unwinding, acupressure, muscle testing, passive and active resistance, postural analysis, scar tissue and adhesion release, neuromuscular applications, cranial/structural techniques and rehabilitative massage. SET therapy is a form of body work that treats acute and chronic pain conditions and addresses musculoskeletal imbalances throughout the body. SET therapy treats multiple conditions such as (but not limited to) neck, back, and shoulder pain, headaches, knee pain, tendonitis, sciatica, herniated/bulging disks, TMJ, carpal tunnel and fibromyalgia. Neuromuscular Therapy
An application of specialized strokes and pressure on specific Myofascial points to relieve pain, restore circulation and normalize imbalances in tissue. Used when addressing Ischemia, trigger points, nerve compression, and postural distortion.
Myofascial release
An application that stretches the fascia connective tissue to release tension, pain, adhesions, and to increase range of motion. This technique helps to regain balance in the musculoskeletal system.
Swedish massage
A system of long strokes, kneading and friction techniques combined with active and passive movements of the joints. Benefits include increased oxygen flow, induced lymph flow, normalized ligaments and tendons, and reduced stress and pain.
Deep Tissue
Concentrated pressure on muscles that encompass tension and pain. Chronic muscle tension and adhesions are released and movement is restored. Benefits include release of spasms, balanced muscular structure, regained range of motion, trigger point release, release of nerve entrapments.
